OX Drive, the innovative car-sharing platform for Tesla vehicles in Latvia, is set to revolutionize the electric car-sharing market following its recent funding agreement with Industra Bank. The Latvian startup, which entered the market just last year, secured an impressive €2.8 million in funding to expand its fleet of shared electric cars. The investment will boost the current fleet size by 80 vehicles, bringing the total to an impressive 200 shared electric cars.
OX Drive was founded by a group of forward-thinking entrepreneurs, namely Egija Gailuma, Kristiāns Karlsons, Juhan Kaarma, and Kristaps Vasiļjevs, who established Spaceship Ltd. The company had previously invested over €4 million in developing the platform and bringing it to life.
“Our development goes hand in hand with the expansion of our fleet, as this is the only way to meet the accessibility and ease of use needs of the platform’s users,” Egija Gailuma, OX Drive co-founder, comments.
