The Europas Awards – one of Europe’s premier tech startup awards – celebrates the most innovative and ambitious startups across the continent. The awards ceremony is an annual event that brings together entrepreneurs, investors, and tech enthusiasts worldwide to recognize the brightest stars in the European tech startup scene.
The Europas Awards have a long and distinguished history, dating back to 2009. The awards were founded by Mike Butcher, editor-at-large at TechCrunch, to recognize the innovative and ambitious startups that were emerging from Europe at the time.
The Europas Awards have quickly become one of the world’s most prestigious tech startup awards. A panel of industry experts judges the awards, and the winners are selected based on their innovation, ambition, and potential impact.
Past winners of the Europas Awards include some of Europe’s most successful tech companies, including Spotify, Klarna, Deliveroo, Supercell, Rovio, TransferWise, SoundCloud, Babylon Health, Builder.AI, and MicroHarvest. The awards have also been a springboard for many startups, helping them to raise funding and expand their reach.
The 2023 Europas Awards will be held on November 13th in Lisbon, Portugal, alongside Web Summit. The awards ceremony will be a night to celebrate the best and brightest of European tech and recognize the startups shaping the continent’s future.
