Tabletop Role-Playing Games (TTRPGs) are immersive and collaborative storytelling games where participants take on the roles of fictional characters within a specific game world, guided by a Game Master (GM) who narrates the setting, creates challenges, and enforces rules. TTRPGs emphasize character creation, player agency, and the use of dice for resolving actions, with players working together to overcome challenges, make choices that impact the storyline, and engage in creative and dynamic adventures set in diverse fictional settings such as high fantasy, science fiction, or horror. These games foster social interaction, encourage imaginative role-playing, and are governed by rules specific to the TTRPG system being played, with popular systems including Dungeons & Dragons, Call of Cthulhu, and Pathfinder.
